Privacy Policy for Hànyǔ - Chinese Course Companion Effective Date: September 17, 2025 Article 1: Introduction This Privacy Policy ("Policy") delineates the practices of Language Dynamics Incorporated ("we," "us," or "our"), a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of New York, with its principal place of business at 300 International Drive Suite 100 #2572, Buffalo, NY 14221, regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of information in connection with our mobile application, Hànyǔ - Chinese Course Companion (the "App"). The App is designed to facilitate pronunciation and listening practice, word reference, and example sentences for users engaged in Chinese language studies, whether as part of a formal class or self-study program with a tutor. We are committed to safeguarding user privacy. This Policy applies exclusively to the App and does not extend to our website (languagedynamics.io) or any other services, which may be governed by separate privacy policies. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you ("User" or "you") signify your assent to this Policy and consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with any provision of this Policy, you must discontinue use of the App immediately. This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to this Policy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within Erie County, New York. This resource is publicly available, free of charge, and does not involve the collection or transmission of any User data. Access to this resource occurs directly from your device without intermediary servers controlled by us. We disclaim any responsibility for the privacy practices of such External Resources, and Users are encouraged to review any applicable terms provided by the resource provider. Article 4: Use of Information 4.1 Absence of Data Use Since we do not collect any Personal Information or Non-Personal Information that could be attributed to Users, there is no use, processing, or analysis of such data by us. The App functions entirely offline or with minimal, non-identifying interactions limited to the aforementioned External Resource. 4.2 Purpose Limitation Any incidental data handling is strictly limited to enabling the core functionalities of the App, including pronunciation practice, listening comprehension, word referencing, and example sentence display. No data is used for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any secondary purposes.
